MHCCA Youth Orchestra Mission: The Mid-Hudson Chinese Community Youth Orchestra
is dedicated to bridging Eastern and Western cultures with the introduction and
performance of original music inspired by the Chinese culture, and serving the community. Organization: The Youth
Orchestra was sponsored and funded by the Mid Hudson Chinese Community Association when it was first founded in
2003. Since then, it is sustained by membership fee, fundraising and donations.
Young musicians in middle and high school in the Dutchess County are invited to
join the group. They are given the role as ambassadors to promote the Chinese
culture as well as the understanding and harmony within the community through the performance of music.

Mid Hudson Chinese Community Youth Volunteer
Team
The Mid-Hudson Chinese Community
Association (MHCCA) Youth Volunteer Team is a youth organization dedicated to serving the local community. We provide local
youth with an opportunity to give back to the community, instilling lifelong values of service, teamwork, and diligence. We
hope that our members emerge as future community leaders and develop a strong pride in our Chinese culture.
The MHCCA Youth Volunteer Team serves at events such as the annual Chinese New Year celebration, the annual Mid-Autumn Festival
celebration, and community picnics. We also collaborate with Arts Mid-Hudson to promote Chinese arts at the annual One River
Many Streams multicultural festival in Beacon, NY. Please emailmhcca1968@gmail.com if you are interested in joining the team.
