For this concert, the group curated by Johnna Wu, is very honored to feature and to work with some of the greatest composers of contemporary music today, including Huang Ruo, Phyllis Chen, Reza Vali, and Chinary Ung, who have all agreed to collaborate with us to make this concert possible. Joseph Lin, as the first violinist of the renown Juilliard String Quartet has been hailed by the New York Times as "glorious... warm, flexible, and perfectly centered", will be a featured performer in this concert, presenting one his own composition, "Trio for Friends". The other performers include Alex Shiozaki from the Momenta Quartet, which the New York Times has praised for its "diligence, curiosity, and excellence", as well as graduates from the Juilliard School, all of whom are leading performers in today's contemporary music scene.
